Marcia Cross (born March 25, 1962) is an acclaimed American actress best known for her iconic portrayal of Bree Van de Kamp on ABC's Desperate Housewives (2004–2012), earning three Golden Globe nominations, an Emmy nomination, and two SAG Awards with the ensemble cast. She previously captivated audiences as the unforgettable Dr. Kimberly Shaw on Melrose Place (1992–1997). A Juilliard-trained actress with a Master's in Psychology from Antioch University, Marcia brings depth and intelligence to every role. She has appeared in Quantico, Everwood, and guest roles on Seinfeld, Law & Order: SVU, and many more. Beyond acting, Marcia is a passionate health advocate — she co-founded the HPV Alliance after her own cancer diagnosis, using her platform to raise awareness and save lives. She recently starred in the Off-Broadway production Pen Pals at DR2 Theatre.
